Please ensure you place orders at least 3-4 weeks before any occasions to avoid the disappointment of your order arriving late.

Thank you for visiting and shopping at The Poison Ivy Creations. Following are the terms and conditions that constitute The Poison Ivy's Shipping Policy. 

Collections:

Collection of orders are strictly between 16:30-18:00 Mondays to Thursdays. Please contact us via whatsapp regarding collections - 0614791811 - Collection at the gate - please whatsapp/whatsapp call us when you are outside, Your order number required to receive your package. (Please whatsapp/email -info@thepoisonivycreations.com to inform me which day you will be collecting once your order is ready for collection.)

Domestic Shipping Policy

Order processing time

Subject to availability and receipt of payment, orders will be processed and put into production within 4-10 business days. This is the processing time, not total lead time (from when orders are placed to when it is received). Please refer to shipping information below. Orders are not processed, shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays.

During peak times when we are experiencing a higher volume of orders, lead time will be slightly longer. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in the shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.

Please note products are made to order, which take time.

Delivery delays can occasionally occur, especially during seasonal times. Also note loadshedding can cause delays. Delivery updates will be sent via email (check spam folder if not received).

Shipping rates & delivery estimates

Shipping charges for your order:

Delivery to door: R135

Takes 2-4 working days to your provided address.

Outlining areas take 2-5 Working days to deliver to your provided address.

If you are situated in a high-risk area there will be an additional charge to have your package delivered to your door. This is due to the amount of Roberies, Hijacking or protests in your area. If this fee applies when we try sending out your package, you'll be contacted to pay the outstanding fee of R60. Otherwise, we recommend using the postnet to postnet option to avoid this. occurring.

Increased Shipping Rates:

Shipping will increase if you purchase more than a certain amount (e.g. 4+ small glasses) or big products (e.g. 3+ stemmed/big glasses) due the size packaging required to keep your products safe during travel. Please contact us if you are unsure of the shipping amounts before placing your order. If you purchase a high volume of items that require large packaging, we will contact you regarding the outstanding shipping fees unless you qualify for free shipping (orders above R1600).

Price range for big packages: R200-R300+-

Postnet to Postnet: R135

Takes 2-3 working days to deliver to your chosen postnet where you collect from.

Includes insurance over your order incase of loss or breakage along the way - Claim for refund through postnet.

Please provide me with the name of the postnet you're collecting from in the company name option during checkout "e.g. Postnet N1 City"

*Please note if you select this option at checkout and you do not type in your pudo locker location we will send it to your nearest available pudo locker from your provided address without notification.

Pudo Locker to Locker

Straight R99 fee For any package from Medium - XLarge. We recommend pudo lockers for any large order to avoid any additional increased rates when sending your package out for delivery. Delivered by the Courier Guy Services.

How pudo lockers work?

Once we have shipped your package you get all the tracking information from us & the courier guy and can track your order along the way. Once in your area it will be delivered to the locker you have selected. Once the package has been delivered to your locker you will receive a secure pin to unlock your locker and collect your package.

Your package has to be collected within 36 hours after it arrives at your locker - if not collected it will be returned back to us and you'll be charged another delivery fee to have your order re-delivered.

Keyrings/Shot glasses/Small/Flat items:

Courier guy to door - R95

Takes 1-4 Working days to deliver to your provided address. 

This option is only for small packages with a height of under 8cm and don't require a lot of protection packaging.

Shot glasses:

Maximum 5 glasses shipped with this option - To door delivery options do not have insurance over your order! Use At own risk.

Shipping Conditions:

Once your parcel is out of my hands, (I) The Poison Ivy Creations will not be responsible should the goods be damaged by the courier. It's each client's own risk for parcels to be sent via courier services.

I do offer a courier service (postnet) that includes insurance over your parcel - if you have chosen that option you can claim for a refund incase of loss or breakage.

Please remember delays do occur it's in your best interest to prepare to avoid them - (I) The Poison Ivy Creations will not be liable for any delays that occur regarding deliveries of your order. You need to take this up with the Courier Company of your choice. If your package is left uncollected or you miss a scheduled delivery to many times your item will be returned back to me and you will be liable for the courier fee for me to send back your package - you will not be eligible for a refund if you cancel your order if this occurs.

If there are any outstanding fees you are liable to pay them. Orders won't go into production until these fees have been received.

Total lead time

Total lead time is the time from when the order is placed to when it will be received/delivered/ready for collection. It is the order processing time + estimated delivery time, which is usually around 7-13 business days, depending on stock, the courier and the delivery address.

Shipment to P.O. boxes

The Poison Ivy does not ship to P.O. boxes.

Shipment confirmation & Order tracking

You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped, containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 24 hours.

Incorrect items received

If you have received the wrong order/a product you have not ordered, please contact us immediately to assess the situation. If you receive a product not sold in our store/a product not send by us, please contact the courier company you used immediately to inform them of the error so that they can assist you in finding your correct package. The Poison Ivy Creations will not be liable for incorrect packages received due to the couriers' mishaps, it is on the client to please go to or contact the courier used to inform them of this error and to take the next steps to receive the correct package/compensation for losses.

Damages

The Poison Ivy Creations is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim if insurance is included.

Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.

International Shipping Policy

Please get in touch if you reside outside South Africa and want to make a purchase on our site.

Customs, Duties and Taxes

The Poison Ivy is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.).
